Leftover Biscuit Rolls

I was looking for something to make with some left over pastry and came up with these, they are best eaten slightly warm.

Leftover Biscuit Rolls

Roll out your pastry into a rectangle.

Use chocolate chips or chop up larger chocolate pieces - I used crumbled milk chocolate flake and chopped up plain chocolate in these.

Sprinkle the crumbled/chopped chocolate over the surface of the pastry then roll it up like a swiss roll.

Cut the 'sausage shape' roll into 1/2" slices and lay them onto a baking tray lined with baking parchment.

Bake in the oven (pre heat to Gas mark 6) for about 10-15 minutes, keep an eye on them so that they don't burn.

Instead of chocolate you could sprinkle over a cinnamon/sugar mix or white chocolate buttons or even caramel spread.
