Home made doner kebab


This is really easy to make and very yummy...

Home made doner kebab

500g lamb or beef mince
1 large garlic clove, crushed
1 tablespoon plain flour
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (or 1 large teaspoon dried parsley)
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 beaten egg

Mix all the ingredients together and then flatten the mixture out into a baking tin that is lined with grease proof paper or tin foil.  Press the mixture so that it is flat and even, about 1cm in depth.

Pop it into a pre heated oven (gas mark 5) for about 20 minutes.

Turn it out onto a flat surface and slice it into strips.

Serve in pitta bread with salad.
