Peanut Butter Choc Chip Cookies

Very yummy.

Peanut Butter Choc Chip Cookies

(this recipe makes quite a big batch, next time I think I would halve the quantities, even I can't eat that many cookies)

1 cup margarine or butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups plain (all purpose) flour
1/2 cup choc chip cookies (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350F (Gas 4).

Cream the butter and both sugars together.

Add eggs and beat.

Stir in peanut butter, baking soda and salt. (and choc chips if using)

Gradually mix in the flour.

Form dough into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets (I just spooned dollops onto the baking trays!)

Squash with a fork dipped in flour into 2" circles.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are a pale, golden colour.
